The file is there in
mrc/source/periodogram/2dx_periodogram.cpp
but it is not compiled.

Thanks for reporting.I was able to reproduce and fix the error
kernel/mrc/source/periodogram was not in the top-level CMakeLists.txt and had an outdated CMakeLists.txt. I now updated everything accordingly and on my system 2dx_periodogram.exe is found now.
Additionally I fired the nightly build.
