When transforming an MRC image into TIFF format (mrc2tif.exe) and back (tif2mrc.exe), the image may be flipped upside down. This may originate in the change in the default definition of the origin in TIFF some years ago. We suggest to use Photoshop or a similar program to flip the TIFF image downside-up, after calling mrc2tif.exe.
